Simply marketing means where the buyer and seller meet for the trading purpose. By keeping in mind both of them are satisfied with their transactions. I think this is a basic definition of marketing we need to be understood for what is all about marketing is. But, as the time passes, the marketing goes wider perspective from mass marketing to individual marketing so far.

If I am not wrong in my opinion, then marketing is more dynamic version. I mean to say that the era of ‘artificial intelligence along with online marketing.’ People are more likely to buy their products from such technologies. Thanks to the internet! Because one can use it at a time do online shopping with a wow feeling rather than gloomy feeling.

Most recently, I have experienced of wow feeling when I bought shaving machine because of on time delivery. Some wise man has said that, “Business has only two functions- marketing and innovation.” So, by carefully understand his words, then innovation is an absolutely applied in today’s marketing.

Once upon a time, there was barter system where people used to exchange goods as per their common understandings. Today, the time has changed people are now living with comfort zones by buying the bulk of different goods. However, the marketing has been changing day by day in terms of services, goods, events, experiences, product sizes, places, information, ideas and so on.

After all, the heart of business success lies in its marketing. Most aspects of business depend on successful marketing at the end. The overall marketing includes advertising, public relations, promotions, sales and society at large. Although marketing is hugely important for a business to succeed, it can also be very expensive.

But, at the same time, if we are talking about products, then it must be appreciated by ‘wow feeling.’ For this, the company should research on customer’s satisfaction and happiness at a time when they are buying these products. As a result, the company will be able to know their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.

And then finally, SWOT will give managers options to match internal strengths with external opportunities. The outcome should be an increase in ‘value’ for customers, which hopefully will improve competitive advantage for the company. Naturally, marketing should result in a customer who is ready to buy. All that should be needed then is to make the product or service available.

All in all, I am not suggesting that money should be wasted in order to create customer delight. I am saying that utilizing resources to develop customer delight. Most importantly, customer delight starts with a business’ employees, for a customer will never love and trust a company unless the employees love it first.

Finally, I’d love to know what your opinion is. This post is for you to add-on to, if you like to do so. Stay safe and warm!  Thanks for reading and have a great day!
